How to Use Your NFC Product with an Android Phone
Using your Retail Revive NFC product with an Android device is incredibly simple. Most modern Android phones have NFC built-in and enabled by default. Here’s how it works:
- Unlock Your Phone: Make sure your Android phone is unlocked and the screen is on.
- Enable NFC (If Needed): For most users, NFC is already on. If you're having trouble, you can check by swiping down from the top of your screen to open the Quick Settings panel. Look for the NFC icon (it looks like a stylized 'N'). If it's not lit up, tap it to enable it. You can also find this setting under Settings > Connections > NFC and contactless payments.
- Tap the Product: Simply hold the back of your Android phone near the Retail Revive NFC tag (on the stand, card, or plaque). You don’t need to be precise, just close.
- Open the Link: A notification will pop up on your screen. Tap this notification to open your Google Review page directly in your browser.
That's it! There are no apps to install and no complicated steps. It’s designed to be a seamless, one-tap experience for your customers.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Make sure NFC is turned on in your phone's settings.
- The NFC antenna on most Android phones is on the back, usually in the center or upper portion. Try tapping different parts of the back of your phone.
- Remove any very thick phone cases or metal attachments (like PopSockets) that might interfere with the NFC signal.
